This Year's Project: Infusion Pumps + Neonatal Phototherapy System

About Our Organization

Established in 1990, the Tri Valley Medical Foundation is a charitable tax-exempt corporation formed for the sole purpose of supporting and enhancing the healthcare mission of Tri Valley Health System.

Thanks to their generous gifts, donors to the Medical Foundation have helped Tri Valley Health System achieve excellence in equipment, facilities and programs. Tri Valley Health System is grateful for the support and advances in medical technology it has allowed.

Current Project: Infusion Pumps + Neonatal Phototherapy System

This year, Tri Valley Medical Foundation is raising funds for syringe infusion pumps and a neonatal phototherapy system with bili light meter.

The Novum IQ syringe infusion pumps allow for precise administration of small volume medications. Especially helpful with pediatric patients and newborns.

The Skylife Neonatal Phototherapy system provides UV light to newborns diagnosed with hyperbilirubinemia or high levels of bilirubin within the blood. This system provides the highest level of phototherapy recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics allowing clinicians to provide intermittent phototherapy which improves bonding in the immediate post-partum period.

“Tri Valley Health System strives to provide quality patient care, ensuring the safety of our patients and employees, and to have the most up-to-date equipment at our facility. The Novum IQ syringe infusion pump offers infusion therapy that integrates with digital health solutions to advance safety and efficiency of medication delivery and management. The Skylife Neonatal Phototherapy System enhances safety for patients and employees by reducing bedside equipment and provides high quality treatment for neonates diagnosed with jaundice. The Bili light meter measures light delivered for neonatal jaundice treatments," said Tri Valley Health System CEO Jessica Fisher.

Both the syringe pumps and the neonatal phototherapy system are vital to Tri Valley Health System in allowing us to remain an up to date and integrated health care system. We feel so very fortunate that we are able to offer care to the smallest of patients and both of these allow us to continue to provide them with the very best care.

Past Projects

  • Ultrasound Table

    Project Details

When patients come to Tri Valley Health System in need of an ultrasound, their comfort is of the highest priority. The Ultra Pro Ultrasound Table is the professional’s choice for performing ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN. The new bed will not only require less patient repositioning which will in turn make it easier to achieve quality images in less time; but its enhanced ergonomics will make for much more comfortability and less fatigue for our sonographers. The new bed will also come with an antimicrobial vinyl mattress which ensures safety against infection for our patient.

Tri Valley Health System CEO Jessica Fisher discussed the importance of a new ultrasound bed, "the Ultra Pro Ultrasound table will provide patients comfort during their exams, allow for easier access, and enhance safety measures against infection as the mattress is antimicrobial vinyl. Quality patient care, positive patient outcomes, and the best patient experience is what Tri Valley Health System strives for."

  • Operating Room Equipment

    Project Details

This year the Tri Valley Medical Foundation will be raising funding for new Operating Room Equipment. The Surgery department at Tri Valley Health System is increasing its patient numbers rapidly. As this happens, we are striving to keep up with the demands of each surgeon as well as what we can offer to the patients. Tri Valley Health System is focused on bringing new surgical procedures and services lines to the communities in which we serve.

The operating room equipment that Tri Valley Health System is striving to purchase includes: Small Ortho Power Tools, Stryker Power System 8, ENT (ear, nose, and throat) and Otolaryngology Surgical Instruments and Tools.

All of the Operating Room equipment Tri Valley Health System is seeking to purchase is pictured here and can be referenced at “Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with our customers, is driven to make healthcare better. We offer innovative products and services in Orthopedics, Medical and Surgical, and Neurotechnology and Spine that help improve patient and hospital outcomes.”

  • Emergency Crash Carts

    Project Details

Funds raised during this years Big Give will go towards the purchase of 6 crash carts. A crash cart is a set of trays/drawers/shelves on wheels used in hospitals for transportation and dispensing of emergency medication/equipment at the site of medical/surgical emergency for life support protocols (ACLS/ALS). These crash carts are vital when it comes to potentially saving someone's life. Currently the carts at TVHS are needing replaced with NEW up-to-date carts to allow for more emergency supplies to be stored and available. These (6) carts would replace our current carts and would be stored throughout the organization to ensure availability in the event of an emergency.
