Current Project: Ballpark Project
Founded in 1974, the McCook College Foundation has assumed the responsibility of enhancing education at McCook Community College. We annually provide scholarship assistance to several MCC students. Our last project was assisting in the building of the Graff Event Center at MCC. Lloyd and Elizabeth Benjamin, an alumnus of McCook Community College and his spouse, a former MCC instructor, came to us with money and an idea of enhancing the green space in McCook while providing an increased number of baseball, softball and soccer fields. McCook College Foundation, MPCC administration, Community Hospital Health Foundation and the city of McCook have been developing contracts involving all parties. We hope to have ground breading this fall.
